That is why we would not be out on the road without a generator! Not only because of the bull with IdleAir but there are times we have to sit on a base, for a day, before unloading. Having the generator makes it alot easier!

I know it is hard to tell by looking at it but the bike is very comfortable - for both Jim and I.

Thanks for the compliments on the bike. We try to get out on it whenever we are home and the weather is agreeable. I am going to try and add some close-up shots. Fastman, nice ride. Just be safe out there when you get a chance to ride.

Yes, it would be great to have him with us all the time but the road is no place for a child. So I just carry his pictures and enjoy the time we get with him.

This is our grandson, Jacob. Whenever he comes over, he has to sit in the truck. Thank God our neighbors don't live too close since he loves to blow the air horn!!

If we bought a new truck today, it would be another Sterling. We would also go back to see Jon Mosier at Freightliner of Knoxville. He was very helpful when we were 1st starting out in the business and then again when we bought our new truck.

Turtle, When delivering direct, that does not mean you cannot stop and grab a bite to eat - especially when you have that much time. As for parking, Jim and I carry a book that lists all the truck stops. We always check, ahead of time, to see where the closest truck stops are and plan ahead...

We always run it direct. By doing this, you can save yourself alot of grief, if you should have a breakdown. It certainly paid off for us when the tranny went in our 1st truck.

The only thing I can tell you, we came back to work on Monday and we have had 3 great loads this week! No complaints from us! I guess it paid off to take the 1st part of July off.
