I do not know if this would help you but i think some of the weather radios will automatically tune themselves to the local NOAA transmitter if it issues a weather warning. I probably should have said Portable or car radios equipped with this feature jimmy

I think that most if not all of the citizens groups pushing these regulations are staffed and run by professional staff whose main incentive is their paychecks and job security. Whatever the organizations original intent was.
