    Lights in the mirror

All of these new super European headlights now out there are a real problem in the side mirrors. I have tried several methods to reduce their effect but have not come up with a good method as yet. Anyone have a good solution for reducing their effect?

    Does Panther reimburse EZ-Pass tolls?

I use it and then print out turn in a copy of my account with the relevant charges highlighted. It is a clumsy way to do it but it eventually works. Wish there was a more modern electronic way for them to get the info.

Just ordered these two items from etrailer.com to attach to the front of my Ford van. Pretty reasonable prices and free shipping. They are in Wentzville, MO if you are in the area. MT70107 MaxxTow 19x52 Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Black Powder Coated Steel - 500 lbs capacity. $69.99...

    Some travel tips

Here are a few ideas I want to pass along on how to improve on life on the road. I am sure there are many great ideas among the expediting family that you may want to add. Here goes. 1. Buy some document clips, they are three sided clips with two spring handles, from Walmart. They come in...

One of the dumbest things I ever tried or How Not To Heat A Van

Retidepxe, Is your aluminum tool box mounted on a van? if so how about a picture. I made one out of angle iron and plywood but it aged so badly I was ashamed of its looks and took it off. I had two Honda 2000s in it to run the roof top A/C and the weight of it all gradually caused the left...

One of the dumbest things I ever tried or How Not To Heat A Van

In another century I was in the paint biz and concerned about viscosity but not here. If your coffee ice cream is too thin just let the coffee cool a little before adding to the bowl. It is a cheap substitute for a Jamoca shake from Arby's.

One of the dumbest things I ever tried or How Not To Heat A Van

Running a generator inside is just too dangerous, you guys are right. There is a long list of things that could go wrong while one slept, possibly forever. Case closed. Thanks to all for the helpful posts. You still might want to try the cayenne pepper sauce in the ketchup, much safer than a...

One of the dumbest things I ever tried or How Not To Heat A Van

mjmsprt40,* Sounds like you have put a lot of thought into this problem. At home this weekend so I will try out your theory on vibration between the pipe and door. I had attached the copper pipe to the muffler with two sheet metal screws so I did not have a big concern with carbon monoxide...

One of the dumbest things I ever tried or How Not To Heat A Van

The thing has rubber feet on it so I don't know if more would help. I had thought about a sound absorbing box placed over it but was concerned with overheating. Think I will just continue to stand outside in the elements to operate the thing.

One of the dumbest things I ever tried or How Not To Heat A Van

I am by nature a pretty adventurous guy. I have discovered that adding Texas Pete to a bottle of ketchup zips it up, coffee poured over vanilla ice cream is good, Fritos are good in chili and cooking raw broken spaghetti in a can of chicken noodle soup is superb. So given this outstanding...

I don't live in Ohio but the Company is there so I am governed by that state's rules, at least I think that is what I was told.

    Wokmans Comp

Ours is 19.08 per week X two X 52 weeks (driving or not) = $1980.16. If you had a choice of companies or whether to have coverage it would not have such a bad taste. We have other insurance and this is actually an unnecessary fee mandated by the State of Ohio.
