It's a hard thing to put aside personal feelings and see the national economy as it might appear on a gigantic spreadsheet. No value judgements. Just calculations and a final GDP result. Think money multipliers. Someone gets a $350 unemployment check. What does he do? Save it? :) Yeah...

Thanks for posting this Aristotle. I haven't heard Patty Loveless in years and it was fun seeing what she has on youtube. I was a country fan for awhile around 1990 or so. :) A lot of good country came out around that time. How about this one from back then?

I had a mailbox at a UPS store for a couple of years and I was very happy. I've learned since, that it all depends on the people that run that particular store. Some are good, some not so much. I was lucky and the people I dealt with were bend over backwards friendly and accommodating.

I know less about religion than most people and even I can see that when haters like Jerry Falwell were trying to shove "family values" down everyone's throats there was nothing Christ-like about it. Many people took notice of the bs factor and came to the same conclusion.

I think that's very astute. :) Bored is a good explaination, probably as good as any. I tend to think of it in terms of ego, but that leads to sad conclusions.
