Exactly what my words have been in the past, in a calm, Curteous voice...and "that's supposed to placate me?" No comment on the other end. I only call in prior to Moving or going Home to see IF, IF I am On Reserve and therefore will wait 20 more minutes to see if I get THAT call with a Load or Not.

Just got offered a 920 # 1 Skid Shorty south of Indianapolis. 100+ mi. Dead Head/ 25 Loaded Miles. I asked what our Total Loads for the Day was right now and that almost made me say a cuss word. Accepted the Load that doesn't Pick Up until 7am. It's better than nothing, and they paid me nearly...

They know that sometimes we're taking a 2-3 skid load that they sometimes take just to get em back into a better area...and that we can drive for 14 or more hours. It's Fear, worry. I've heard em on my CB PO as I'm Driving past, that I'm not having to Scale too. Oh well.
