Darn, I forgot all about the conference call with Jason yesterday. See what's happening when you are busy hauling freight? :D
Anyway, anybody tuned in? Can you give us the gist of what was talked about?
I am in a Sprinter. I did not know they increased the rate. It used to be 1.25 for cars and 2.00 for >7'6" . But with the I-pass at an EZ pass only lane I used to be charged only 1.25
Oh, no problem, helps you exercise a bit more. Instead of pressing the button, you have to get up and press the button. We don't get enough exercise anyway.
I do it at Concentra also. Just had it done last week in Atlanta. Cost me $48. Two years ago it was $42. I called a few Concetras in TN and they were $55, so I guess it varies by state. Leo, where did you have yours done?
Yeah, when you are on a percentage, usually the shorter the load, the more pay per mile. But since I am now on a flat rate, the longer the load, the more money I make, still the same pay per mile.
Got an overnighter from Columbus, OH to Richmond, VA. Will be at the J/Petro in Carmel Church/Ruther Glenn, VA tomorrow. Stop and say hi if you have time.
I know on a regular starter and probably on this starter too, if the brushes get too short it will do that kind of thing. Next time it happens, take a hammer and hit it a few times and then try again. If it starts, the starter is the problem.
Aha, this is why I did not get EZPass NY, cause I looked at all of the when I decided on the I-Pass.
If you go and look at the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the page you see:
PANYNJ monthly Account service fee $1.00
Is this only for residents of PA NY and NJ?
EZ Pass NY gives you half off in Chicago? Didn't know that. Also, what kind of discounts do you get in NY? It has been a long while since I went to NY so I don't remember if I got any discounts with my I-Pass. Anybody knows?
I-pass is through Illinois (illinoistollway.com), works also where ez-pass is accepted, no monthly fee, and if you go a lot through chicago it makes sense since I-pass price there is half the cash price.
Guido,
Why do you go through lots of filters? On my sprinter I have an indicator on the filter box that tells me when I need to change it. It never moved (I tested it and it works) so I change my filters every 60k, but they would go longer than that.
