    Merge

I was taught to merge at the gore point in 1970, it's hard now with all the trucks out there trying to be traffic cops and forcing people to merge 1 to 2 miles before the constructions gore point. Plus now a days no one leaves any distance between the vehicle in front of them so you can merge...

    2014 Dodge ProMaster 3500 3.0 I-4 Diesel vs 2015 Ford Transit 350 I-5 3.2 Diesel

I would like to add that instead of looking at cargo capacity you should be looking at door height and rear overhang. The door height of the Promaster is 69 inches and the Ford is something like 74 inches, plus, the rear overhang of the ford is way to much at five and a half feet.

    Dac report

Looks like there was a hub cap on the rim, that could be why it was never checked by the driver. But It should have been checked every time a service was done on the vehicle at the shop you had them take the truck... You should be questioning the shop on why they didn't check or see a wheel seal...

    Fatigued Driving

ELD in the truck or no ELD in the truck doesn't matter, driver would still have been at 13.5 hours at the time of the crash and still would have been in a hurry.

    Fatigued Driving

Now that I understand NJ law on drowsy driving, the DA had no choice but to claim the truck driver was up over 24 hours, because without that claim he has no case for death by vehicle or any of the other charges. Now I believe since the DA office won't say if the driver told them he was over 24...

There is no way WalMart would have let that driver drive if they knew stayed up for 18 or 20 hours before coming on duty. There isn't a person here that thinks that.. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
