To me a C unit is a 1 ton cube van and if your going to haul 5000# your going to be over 10001# GVW and you are going to have to log and scale. So if your planning on logging and scaling you would be better off running a D unit and haul 13500# and be able to haul more loads. Fr8 Shaker

My answer probably won't be the correct one but what I do is (if you have the power) just hammer on it a bit till they are at least a 1/2 mile or more behind you then you can go back to cruise for awhile until someone in front of you slows you down and they catch up again LOL.
