Pretty rough on an outfit where two people just posted they are having their best month ever .

I get excited when the guy ON the forklift knows how to operate it. I load today where I loaded yesterday. I'll pj it across the parking lot and use the liftgate instead of having the guy attempt using the forklift again.

And sitting a few days at a % company is far different than sitting for a mileage outfit. Coming off a $13,000 week I can afford to sit for for seven days and still be on schedule. At any mileage place I've been, if you lose a day you fall behind. They price the mileage pay so you have to keep...

You've got to wonder how soon Panther will pull overflow trailers for ABF.

I've hauled air freight out of some pretty low class operations. I've yet to see a problem at any FedEx Express locations. Of course, there're pretty well compensated and for the most part look like pretty cushy jobs.

Why is it that when a Teamster works with the company, for the overall good of the company, they are considered weak ? The Teamster's are not the UAW. :)
