Can someone point me in the right direction (Regarding Sprinter Vans)

I'm sorry to sound negative, but if you have to ask these questions you would most likely fail. I would suggest driving for someone yourself to learn the business, before investing a large sum of money.

Want to know what you're earning?

It is simple, pushing on the throttle feeds more fuel to the engine. The more you hold down on the throttle the more fuel you will burn,it takes more pressure on the throttle to maintain 75 mph than 60 mph.

Hiking the AT is on my bucket list,I doubt I ever will though. The next would be to take a large boat on the Grand Loop. Choosing your Great Loop boat.

Want to know what you're earning?

My fuel costs do not decrease all the way to 80 mph, as my fuel economy is nearly constant from 55 to 80 mph. In town and slow driving has a 20 percent fuel economy hit. This part I do not understand, how could MPG stay the same 55 or 80? How do you calculate MPG. I'm not doubting you just don't...

    looking for some answers

That sounds like an average deal for a van. Some vans get closer to a dollar a mile some get less than 86 cents. Expediters from Canada would know more than me. That deal may be ok to start, main thing is,do they keep you loaded.

    Olive Oil: for your health

An interesting bit of trivia. In roman times olive oil was used for so many things and considered precious enough that if you cut down an olive tree it was punishable by death.

Jailed for a 5 cent theft

I think any time you do anything on someone's property you should ask permission first unless it is meant for customer use, then you must be a customer. I don't and would not cut through someone's yard but lazy people do.

Jailed for a 5 cent theft

Just a thought. How about maybe it is theft if the school complains to the police, because he was warned not to do it but continued. If someone cuts through your yard, no signs present can you have them arrested for trespass, would a reasonable law enforcement officer make the arrest, I think...

Looking to get into a Sprinter

Expediter Services would be a good place to start as a contract driver in a S/T. I don't know about there lease to buy program. You need to find a partner they hire teams. Since you are used to a T/T , I'm willing to bet you would like a S/T more than you think. Nothing against Vans but you...

    60/40 split

It depends on the carrier that the truck is leased with,a company like FedEx you see the pay when they offer you a load so you get 60% of that plus you should get the fuel surcharge. If the owner is loading you that is different I guess you would have to take there word or have them scan bills...

    List of Expediting Companys

I don't think it is right to pick on the Van's. I used to hear those big truck drivers on the CB bragging on the CB about how important there job is. Every job is important, try to deliver that load without the fuel clerk or any other of the employees that support trucking. As far as the size of...
