    Sprinter Diagnostic

As of now it does not work on NCV3 (2007 and up) sprinters. It might in the future, but I won't hold my breath.

Yeah, compare it to a $3000 DRBIII that the dealers use, this is a steal. Can't think of one. If it saves you from going to the dealer 3 times, it paid for itself already.

    Sprinter Diagnostic

It works pretty good. One thing I dont like about it is that it has a serial connection to the computer instead of a USB. As you know, laptops nowadays don't come with serial ports any more. I use it with a USB to serial adapter and it works pretty good, but some people have reported having...

    Sprinter Diagnostic

Do you have a 2006 or older Sprinter? I like gadgets, so I bought a DAD (Dr. A Diagnostician). For those of you that don't know, DAD is a computer software with a cable that connects to the Sprinter's computer and can read and erase codes, and do other cool stuff. Read more about it here. I...

I/40 (gorge area) is now open

Correct, but it would have been nice to get the added loaded miles pay and then go the short route. haha

I/40 (gorge area) is now open

Yesterday around 3 pm it was still closed, so I had to detour. If they would have opened it a few hours earlier .... Glad to see it open again. The detour was a pain.

    10 miles, $140

Last year I had the highest paying load ever. 12 loaded miles, 18 miles to pickup, paying $540 and some change. I was in a tractor though.

Why didn't I get that load?

I used to try to find out why I didn't get the load when I was sure it was mine, but the result of that was just more anger. So now, I don't care anymore. When I don't get the load, I don't care why, just wait for another good one.

    Sign on bonus with fdcc

Last september when I went to orientation to get into a tractor, I felt so bad for at least half of the people in the orientation. They had no idea what they were getting into, no idea what expediting was, and like you said, no chance of survival. I don't know why they prefer getting people...

    Bolt driver killed

I think that regulating the cargo vans will not work. We don't have a DOT approved sleeper, what are they going to do? Require us to have a motel receipt each night? I certainly cannot afford it at $.85 cpm, and there are a slew of companies paying a lot less than that. I, for one, will get out...

    Sprinter vans

Xiggi, he is talking about BR units, which are those refrigerated Sprinters. They work a little bit different than the regular expediters.

    Van inspections

I have mine done at a local truck shop here in Atlanta. $40 I tried once at a Petro truck stop and they wanted too much. Once I did it at a T/A, it was more than $40, but still reasonable if I remember correctly.

This thing is half way buried in the dirt. Wow. Prayers for the family of the driver. May he rest in peace.

Did they just turn loose another batch of vans from orientation?

    Are you being macromanaged?

I am all for safety, but I fail to understand how some of these policies increase the safety factor. I don't even want to think about a 1000 miles run straight through, even though I can do it with a few power naps, it is not good for my health. I have a big problem with the scheduled breaks. At...

What year and how many miles on the Sprinter? Where did you get it replaced and how much did it cost? Thanks.

At home. I broke down (not the truck) a few days ago. Feels like I busted a lung or something. Not really. Just some kind of cold and cough that I thought I would get over quickly, but it did not happen like I thought. Then I decided to stay home and rest a lot and get ready for going out again.

    Sprinter engines

Well, I like to mess around with mechanical stuff, and I will do my best to fix it rather than replace it. It happened before that I ended up paying the same in the long run as if I would have replaced it in the first place, but many many more times I saved a bunch of money. And I feel so much...
