My 2 cents.... in a cargo van/sprinter going to NY seems like it would be just a hassle. In a STR TRK or TT it's alot tougher. Especially the TT. For me the extra pay just isnt worth the extra work and expense. Now if I'm in BFE and the load is 1500 miles full rate, dels on Sunday in the middle...

OVM... I'm not sure what to say. I just called CLC today. Asked about the 24 hour deal. Answer was plain and clear. It's in the contract that the hotel signs. 24= 1 night stay...period. Even if they tell you at the hotel that its 2 nights, CLC will only pay 1...period... not sure who everyone...

It's simple to me... dispatchers should be treated with respect, BUT they work for you. It only gets turned around if you let it.

I'm trying to think of a (any) reason someone (anyone) would deadhead a TT 3150 miles. Help me understand that one...... Seems like there would have been 1000's of trucks closer. And for that money, any number of trucks with much less deadhead would have jumped all over that load.... weird

No... I was told it was all hotels doing business with CLC... call again ask a diff person. Unless they changed it very recently. Did you call 888-545-9391 ?? Ask for someone in the auditing dept. Sometimes the customer service plp dont know up from down. Sad but true.

FSC for hauling NLM is stoopid LOW. You would think whom ever sets the rates for them never goes by a truck stop on the way to work. Simple solution... let their freight rust on the docks. NLM IS CHEAP FREIGHT
