Is there anyone in the Expediter's Graveyard, AKA Laredo, for the Labor Day holiday? If so, give me a shout. I'm at the Hook sitting in bobtail row, backside toward the TA. I'll get you a cup of coffee.
Later much.
In the case of the VW plant, it will be a win/win for all involved. Especially seeing as how Tennessee is very business and worker friendly. Some of the lowest corporate taxes in the country and no income tax on workers.
As far as taking forever to get unloaded, take a nap and get paid for it...
And if you love the UAW/other unions of the world running this place into the dirt, then that poor excuse of a Lansing slob, Virg Bernero is your man. I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired. This place has become a drain on my psyche.
Just like I don't truly believe all members of the Black Panthers were/are racist, all members of the modern Tea Party aren't. Some people joined their various parties/groups for different reasons.
That being said, there are truly racist (for various reasons) groups all over the world. KKK...
Because if someone can't cash in on that, then there would be no one cashing in on say, medals for the fallen, or the flags that drape a coffin. Look at how many have put a vinyl sticker of the Twin Towers on their trucks, they had to buy the materials, if not the stickers themselves.

This is a friend's daughter. She went out with friends last night in the Houston, TX area. She is 15 years old. The photos that I am attaching are recent. The one in the dress is from the other night. Her name is Krystin Lamb.

Thanks for everyone that responded to the poll and gave responses. We're happy to inform everyone that our owner is paying for the deductible if it goes that route.
The truck was parked at an apartment complex, where we had family. We had some issues with the truck that the family member was going to help us out with and that's why we were there. The owner knew and was all about us having it fixed at no cost to him. We had parked in the same spot on...
This is for owners and drivers alike. If the truck you are driving for an owner (or owners, vice-versa) is tagged by graffiti slingers while parked in a place where the owner wanted the drivers to go to have something fixed, who pays the insurance deductible?
Is there that much to not talk about that no one wants to post in this forum? There have been the forums for the other carriers for how long... the EO powers-that-be decide that E1 should have one, and nothing in almost a month.
Let's get takling in here... there's enough to go around at E1.
I have an SCP-7050 from Sanyo. My service is thru Sprint, and about 98% of the time it's dead on as far as addresses go. And it's fast to find your stuff on it. If you have the unlimited plan, you get X #of minutes to use (sometimes unlimited) and the use of its GPS is included. Good value and easy.
We would have liked a longer run to cover the weekend. Instead, they got us a run home. Only 530 miles, but home is much better than what they were working on before it.
I apologize in advance for not fully reading the book that Phil posted. But here's the question that I have. Did they pop you for having ill-rated tires, or because they were too heavy for the front end?

"Oh no, another one that gets it. It actually does exist.
Maybe there is such a thing as "luck" ?"
We'd all be lucky if this one gets back on point. Good stuff Dave. I'm not an owner, but I empathize.
I like shrimp 'n' butter. But I'd like even more for Phil to put this one to...
OK... maybe I asked the question wrong. What I meant was, what is considered cheap freight for a contractor? Not in percentage.
And you won't catch me dead running for 30% No matter what people think I "need."
