    Sprinter 2500 vs 3500

I'd bet the first measurement you took was the travel from axle housing to rubber bump stops (with compression) before the surgery. I think Sprinter wheel housings are much "taller" than they need to be. Looks good! And THUMBS UP: A Sprinter that isn't White!!!!!! Rich

Which State is best to relocate to?

Ragman said: "I totaly agree and couldn't say it better. However, with that said, remember nobody else has Bates, Brays, or Tel-Way hamburgers. " And let's not forget about "Greens," @ 10 Mile/ Orchard Lake... Gut Bombs For The Win! I can tell they're ready to eat when the grease...

Sorry, More Van Mileage and Per Diem Questions

Cargo Van Mileage Deduct vs Depreciation: As I have read and researched: If one has their own authority and does not lease to a carrier for exclusive use, yet uses many carriers/ brokers, one is considered "For Hire" and standard mileage deduct is not allowed- only standard depreciation and...

    Sprinter 2500 vs 3500

OVM is right about the 04-06 being a better, more efficient mouse trap. The 2.7 liter 5 cylinder is a great engine. I read elsewhere that most of the newer design 2007 US models (2500) came standard with a 4.18 rear end axle ratio in lieu of a preferred 3.92 which also figures greatly in...

Countdown to Another Sprinter Killer- Sort Of

Yep Jack, the Nissan is not a replacement- nor is this coming Isuzu/ Utilimaster thing as I mentioned in my original post. I love the early (2002-2006) Sprinter- I own two of them. Be nice to have a powerful 4 cylinder turbo diesel and a manual trans though, like they offer in Europe... IMHO...

Countdown to Another Sprinter Killer- Sort Of

Yep, I owned a Nissan/UD and a Mitsubishi- both cab forward models that would want to "James Bond- Eject You" over bumps if you didn't have an air seat. A protruding nose in the secret pic suggests the axle is forward; we'll soon find out...

A little help from the experts please

Hi, I own/ have bought and sold a few T1N Sprinters. I've read your ad; First thing that caught my eye is not seeing total miles on your van-people will want to know. Guessing that it's high, so also mentioning that you have meticulous maintenance records (instead of just "repairs") might...

    Historic Shell Gas Station

There is also a renovated, more conventional Shell Station circa 1930's at the Gilmore Museum in Michigan, NE of Kalamazoo. One of my favorite places to visit if you are into cars, restored barns and manicured grounds: Welcome to the Gilmore Car Museum
