    Retirement can't come soon enough....

Tell me that everything in that ship is built to survive the riggers of space travel, yet they use a 50 cent Woolworths laundry basket. Sheesh.

Until the central banks either buy it all, or sabotage it. Likely they'll do the latter, then the former.

How's It Going @ FedEx Custom Critical?

It's a shame. There used to be at least a handful of drivers here who would have had knowledge on this subject.

How's It Going @ FedEx Custom Critical?

Interstate Distributor was bought out by Heartland (Heartless) Express, to die a slow, meaningless death. Landstar is where I would want to go, if I got back into expediting in a semi. I like to be able to find freight conducive to the ever-changing freight lanes. You can use any of Landstar's...

I 75 S High Speed Chase. Expediter Safe

As he was walking up to the vehicle, I could hear the cop say, "My God, that was fun!"

    Retirement can't come soon enough....

That's exactly what I say about getting into semis. Freedom is a relative term. The open road is liberty personified; and steering a rig, to me, is tantamount to captaining the Millennium Falcon.

Now 60 gallons for a shower at TA

What? Do you think I would sully my name with a two-bit :censoredsign:? Preposterous! I'll need a $5 one.

I know the used truck market is a serious buyers market. The fact that so many companies are trading in their trucks around 450k says that they want the warranty, but not the chance they'd have to replace expensive parts like the DPF.

If you don't end up going to V3, my belly was always full when I ran for C&M.

Yes, the idea of telling the customer to find someone else is a thing of the past. Nowadays in expediting, it seems the customer is always right for all the wrong reasons.

Do they still do "C" rates? Last I remember, if it was too big for a van it was "straight truck" rate. Can't remember Load One, but C&M was like that.

    Cargo Van Controversial idea?

This is a post to pay attention to, IMO. When a company relieves itself of all obligations regarding a contractor's time and profit, you become a mere cog. They know they have you by the balls. Tho I think driving a sprinter could be fun to try, I'd never do it because of the glut and cog...

Tell me, did sprinters end up as a van rate, or vans a sprinter rate? Nothing is a nothing burger, or it wouldn't be nothing.

But they have the pics posted on EO. Don't think the money isn't there to come up with a copy. They don't call it the Russian mafia for nothing. Personally, I love your vantruck. I only hope that it consistently earns a straight truck rate for anything over three skids.

Oh, once the Russians figure out how to do it, it'll change the industry the same as the first Sprinter did. Granted, theirs won't be as pretty or well thought out.
