    Speed Limits and fuel economy

At 60 mph I get 12 mpg in my M2. Push it up to 65 and it drops to close to 11 mpg. Have never had the need to go over 65.

    April fooled ya !!!!!

I am in total agreeance and that has been my philosophy up until I got into a straight truck. Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to get what I got. Now trying to run some numbers to see where I stand on a standard straight truck with/without lift gate to see what kind of a payment it...

    April fooled ya !!!!!

Thanks. It just seems almost every other call I get it ends up it won't fit into my truck. Either they remember to look after they have dialed the number and say "oops, forgot you were the small large straight" or I have to remind them to look at my dimensions and then they move on. So I was...

Ok, question for the straight truck drivers out there. What percentage of your loads are over the following criteria? Over a payload of 8500 and/or requiring more than 16 feet of space. Just trying to figure out if a second truck payment is justifiable and figure out if size really DOES matter...

Welcome to March, and have you ever noticed

Hmmmmm there must be something I am unaware of or something that transpired before I came along. Sorry for inadvertently opening an old wound.

Welcome to March, and have you ever noticed

Saw the QC message about calling in. I, for the life of me, can't figure out why people call in and harass the very people who are trying to help them. All calling in does is slow them down. I have heard the saying "the squeaky wheel gets greased" but come on people let them do their jobs...

2 more nibbles today but couldn't land anything. Seriously have to change my bait but that is easier said than done.

Welcome to March, and have you ever noticed

I did catch one. At first site it looked to be pretty decent but after closer examination it ended up to be 1/2 as long as it was supposed to be but still put food on the table so its all good. It also put me in a better position in the pond for a better catch tomorrow.

Welcome to March, and have you ever noticed

No calls yesterday. Relocated. Today 3 calls so far but just can't seem to reel one in. I am a catch and release kind of guy but lets at least get it to the boat. ;)

    Driver Cams?

This IS a very interesting topic. I have often thought about the purchase of a dash cam myself. I was also going to use it for personal reasons such as on my Harley while riding, or using it for training purposes for competitive canoe paddling. It would be something that I purchased and had...

Welcome to March, and have you ever noticed

What a B E A utiful day to be an expeditor. Upper 60's, not a cloud in the sky, no wind to speak of. It allowed me to work on my APU which has been giving me fits and was able to fix it. Even with a dry run this morning it was a good day.

Welcome to March, and have you ever noticed

Drove from Michigan to Virginia Beach and back with-in the last week for a wedding and the only 2 straight trucks I saw moving were Load 1. Several semi's from various companies and the same with vans and sprinters but only straights moving were with us.
