We are only allowed to fuel when we are loaded per the company because they use fuel optimizer and have us fuel once we are mid trip. Sorry acquitted these guys that know my business make me irate.

One way it makes things more dangerous and I am guilty of this lately, but driving faster to beat the 8 hour mark. If I am doing a 8.5 hour trip where I was running 60 mph in the past, I am now running 65-67 to try to deliver before the 8 hour mark then drive off duty to the truck stop.

This volvo has got to be the best tractor I have ever driven. It is a 2011 model. It is really quiet,10 speed and averages 7.2 mpg pulling 45,000 pound paper loads. Has thermoking apu,2000 watt inverter. Overall I love it.
