I have an idea, why not change the name of one of the forums to "Panther Pages".......sure are alot of panther II drivers on here whining and complaining........ You'd think they would use the website that panther supplies to their o/o's and drivers to vent their complaints about the company...

I've read over and over on here of some contracted driver getting taken advantage of by some truck owner looking for a driver. Or problems arising from things that weren't mentioned in the contract or talked about before signing. I wonder what the truck owner's reaction would be if when it came...

I've read over and over in this forum O/O's talking about the cost of putting a new driver thru orientation, etc. Can someone put some numbers here, explaining the expenses of hiring a new driver for their T/T, S/T or van???? Just curious. When I went thru orientation, I paid for my own drug...

My turn to brag about the expedited industry and my previous (and only) owner I've driven for. We started in expediting without a clue as to what it was all about. Luckily we got on with owners, husband/wife that knew the business. At the time, they had 4 straight trucks and 3 vans on the road...

I've always been curious, maybe someone can shed some light on the subject. I just can't understand why someone would "contract" with an owner to drive their truck and pay for the fuel themselves? I know you have to figure in the fuel surcharge, but how much does that really offset the fuel...

Was curious on how the solo straight truck drivers are doing at Tri-State. Thinking of going back with them. They keeping ya'll busy? Making any money or running all those short piddly loads.

Just thinking, are there any expedited companies that have flat bed straight trucks? I've always wondered why some company doesn't start one of those divisions...........you'd think the first one to do it would make a ton of money............. Just something to think about..........
