    Gps units

I have tried many and will buy garmin from now on until someone builds something better. Many of the garmin comments here seem to be from the nuvi 200 series (the cheap one) and before any undies get twisted i did say most, not all!! I had telenav on my phone and loved it, but no signal equals...

    Gps units

We are garmin users and love them. I recomend my drivers go with any garmin above the 330 series as the 200 205 ect dont have truck routing. for van drivers the 205 seems to be more than capable.

    little house on the prarie

I am actually very impressed with it. A few lessons in they start slipping words in that havent been covered yet but you just "know" what they mean. I was amazed at how quickly you start to retain it all too. Far better than any others I tried (and I tried a few). I would recommend it to anyone...

    little house on the prarie

I like to spend my downtime with Rosetta Stone learning spanish. I also like to catch up on House and Knight Rider when the aircard has fast enough speeds. And of course, I love coming to E/O and driving everyone crazy :) (lately though, thats no long drive, more like a very short putt :) )

    New Panther Division

Unless they are backhauls panther usually doesnt let us stack loads. It would be interesting to find out if these will fall within the backhaul guidelines allowing stacking. Also I wonder if we would still be limited to the 25% load advance. $1.25 is pretty high in relation to most backhauls...

    $1500 a Month??

Sorry but I would give up the driving before I gave up my boys. Darlin' having already spoken to your hubby rest assured if this is what you wanna do, the rest of your family (the hairiest member) would be welcomed here in one of our trucks. You handle all those kids up there so I KNOW you could...

    Clearing up a DAC

No worries Greg, I didnt think you were being hostile :) Thanks for everyones input. The link was very helpful and the numbers number and address posted above was passed on to his wife. The ball is now in their court and time will tell if it will pan out :)

    Clearing up a DAC

Sitting here in seville and yes I talked to panther. The policy is no failures/refusals in the last five years. If it is removed from the DAC then problem solved. I have spoken to the husband and wife, and they are simple country folk from my neck of the woods. I find it very easy to believe...

    Clearing up a DAC

Greg, the guy called me wanting to drive. I just expanded my fleet and need drivers. The alleged refusal was over 2 years ago and he claims was a spite thing from his driver manager. This is not unheard of, I assume he isnt lying and go from there. He has a clean MVR and this is the only thing...

    Clearing up a DAC

I had a potential driver call me but when he quit a large carrier (always at the front of any slow moving line of trucks) they said he refused a drug screen. This may or may not be the case (people lie, no really the do) and he want to dispute the entry. Anyone have the contact info to do this with?

    Panther Refusal Stats

Only panther drivers can post in the Panther forums. This was started by someone who doesnt drive for panther and had questions. I like hearing what everyone thinks, not just Panther drivers, about these matters. Sometimes an outside view is needed. Who knows, maybe someone thinking about...

    Panther Refusal Stats

As I understood it, 200 mile deadhead for 500 mile run, but as I sit here thinking about that, I cant help but wonder if I am not getting the whole picture. There would have to be a minimum for that or 40 miles for 100 would be free of the refusal and I know that isnt right. I am here in seville...

    $1500 a Month??

I have my furry sons with me and have no objection to drivers having them provided both drivers approve and you understand that any damage will be subtracted from your pay. My brothers has dogs at home and believes that is where they belong so NO DOGS ALLOWED. I recomend as suggested above that...

    Panther Refusal Stats

This subject is the hottest topic I have seen!! I still dont get the problem. If your numbers are good then you have been running the same way you need to be running now. Many of us saw this coming months ago and planned for it. Those who didnt care to see or saw and didnt care are paying for...

    Panther Refusal Stats

2 things 1) I sent a message to the first driver council after NLM held my truck in texas for 3 days for a load that fell through 15 minutes after the hold was placed on my truck. And NO they didnt tell me anything about the load in the first place. I found out about it and the hold when I...

    Another Brilliant Panther Move

I have a fleet. I have no special treatment based on that fact. I believe we get the loads we do because we dont cherry pick. We run loads that are profitable. Our definition of profitable may be much different than everyone else. That take care of the owner side of the issue. Now, I am a...
