    How about stretching?

Dave is right on the money. I talked to Heath Wood from Middle Georgia Freightliner at the Expo about stretching and he said it would run about $5200. It could be done cheaper but I would want it done by someone who knows what they are doing. Mike

    My 2 cents

Gee, might the hot dog muncher be the same guy i ran into at the Expo? After giving a good and infomative seminar on spec'ing a truck and answering several questions from the group he asked us to stop by the booth with more questions. So I did only to find him much less informative. I did get 2...

    B, C, D or E Unit

Glen, I haven't bought a truck yet, and am still debating between a C or D unit. Traffic Lanes

ATeam, At Ground I'm in the P&D end, I'm the guy who comes running to the door with your package, gets a signature and runs back to the truck again. Don't get me wrong, Ground has been good to me overall but things change, as my...

    Traffic Lanes

terryandrene, thanks for the info. I don"t know what size truck yet, or which carrier. I've been a contractor with FedEx Ground for 11+ years and lean toward CC but have much to learn. I enjoy the pro's & con's here on the forum and plan to be in Woodhaven in August.

    Traffic Lanes

I'm beginning to gather info before taking the plung. Keep reading about the traffic lanes but don't know where they are. Do they vary by carrier? I live in extreme west-central Illinois near Quincy, Illinois, so how far out in " the boonies " am I? Thanks!
