    T-Val is Thermoking only now?

Still am very wary of whole Tval and I will tell you why. I've made so many practice tapes it's unreal. Yet when I changed trucks and owners they want still more. When I needed to get ahold of the Tval peeps seems they never could get back with me. And I'm not expecting an instant reply but...

    Canceled Loads

Guess We've been lucky with the canceling loads most cancel within an hour or so after we accept them. Still sucks when it happens as who knows what great load you may have not got to see. But when you get right down to it well..... just check my signature. At least you get an oh I'm sorry from...

    E Log Flaw

Kind of in the same subject when you put a truck out of service for say taking a week off. Make sure they know you are also off. They can give you a random DOT drug test which if you were say on a cruise ship or had been to a wedding reception could be very ackward indeed.

    T-Val is Thermoking only now?

As far as Tval goes I heard from a few people that when you go Tval you don't see the reg temp runs. It's like an invisable Tval lock on you. Anyone care to comment on that? I like running the regular temp controled especialy in the winter months the paints and such they don't want to freeze...

    VRU load opp results ?

What I would like to have is the ability to see who got the load and for what pay. Seems a little strange when you accept a load (that you've worked a price out on usualy) to have it cancel. Now I know loads do cancel but it does make you go HMMMMM???. Did they pull me off this load because they...

CR or DR unit, no sleeper

I'm sure there are plenty of places where freight is so hot that these types of trucks could be used be used being home every night would be great if you were making good money. The only downside would be living near the bigger cities though some enjoy that lifestyle many do not or the heavy...

CR or DR unit, no sleeper

Yes they do like to keep info to themselves as it tends to clutter our poor little truckers brains.

    What do you use

Yep good ol vinegar cleans glass better then anything else. Is good medicinaly and is fantasic on spinach! Cheap and enviromanticaly friendly too. Think it kills bacteria also so a win win win. Seems to cut other odors also....... Hell Vinegar for President!!!!

    Bag-less Walmart

The Austin thing at Wal Mart I ran into awhile back. It's not Wal Mart doing it it's the city or county. They got tired of those bags blowing around the streets getting into fences and trees can see a lot more places following suit. Not a tree hugger but they do make a pretty big mess just get a...

making the decision to go for it

From her post I didn't see they were talking about buying a truck just jumping into expediting. The one that said maybe Hubby should team up and learn the ropes sounds like a very good idea. Once he gets on the learning curve and driving for an owner it would be much easier on you both when...

Fresh Salads - Salad in a Jar

Oh I'm going to have to try that. Love salads but they are expensive and most pretty nasty at the truckstops. Thanks for posting this awsome idea.

Read and Research then ask questions

Reminds me of the kid who didn't say a word till he was 6 years old. When asked why he hadn't spoken sooner he replied "Didn't have nothing to say". Good to see you have broken your silence I shall refer to you as the "Monk". So what do you drive and who for? If you don't mind my asking.

No experience but good everthng else

If you decide to go the class B CDL route remember the more a truck has going for it the busier you'll stay. Was a learning curve for me when I started out. A truck with a lift gate will get more jobs then a regular dry box and a refer truck with a lifgate well that's the way to go in mho...

No experience but good everthng else

People seem to be giving you good advice especialy about vans not being so great as far as paydays. Getting a class B cdl would be the thing to do. Find a carrier who needs you to team up and drive with someone. Living in Ohio the good news is you'ld probaly be around home a decent amount so...

Who knows how much of a beating this guy took maybe he had a bum ticker, maybe he was a crackhead and had serious health problems. Maybe he did say he had a gun and one of those guys really coldcocked him. The only ones that really will ever know is those that where there. It really doesn't take...

    Today's Weekly Bulletin

It might not be that operating costs dictate the market rate but if Fed Ex who doesn't own any of these WhiteGlove units doesn't keep our rates up there who's really going to go broke providing their service. And really they don't pay for deadheading anymore. It's up to the drivers to figure...

    Today's Weekly Bulletin

I am but a humble pirate but it seems to me that theres way too many variables to ever take away our reasonable right to negotiate. Speaking from the Whiteglove custom critical angle anyhow. We are a division made up of private owners and fleet owners who need a certain income to keep ourselves...
