    T300 Bug Deflector

Well, spring has sort of sprung (rumours of wet snow Monday) and the bugs are out happily sacrificing themselves on my windshield so I'm thinking a bug deflector might be in order. There seems to the stainless/chrome KW/Mirrex and a smoke plastic one. Obviously the plastic one will not be as...

    T300 Squeak

overall the T300 is much less annoying than the M2 was but I got a squeak noise about ear level (of course) somewhere around the upper rear of the drivers door that I can't figure out where its coming from. Have tried pulling on the door, lowering the window and pulling on it, stuck a napkin...

    Ice on Roof solution?

How about a walking roof? It'd be cheap, lightweight and you can moonwalk on your box. LOL

    Ice on Roof solution?

A straight mechanical solution would be better, not saying a tarp would work but something involving the tarp motors on dump trucks to clear the roof now and then.

    Ice on Roof solution?

I haul another brand of those things daily and I'll tell you they are NOT cheap - an average bath sized matte is somewhere around $5-600. Last week they forgot to put a half dozen or so mattes on the shipment............$3500 discrepancy. I noticed that company with the truck systems showed an...

    Air ride drivers seat?

I looked around at a couple of dealers, checked ebay now and then as there always seem to be a few on there either lightyly used or new. Trouble with ordering one online is the shipping will negate any savings. Local dealer had some Bostrom wide rides (upholstered plywood) National and Sears -...

4 people in a straight truck

I heard of a truck busted at a scale in WA state some years back - reportedly the total violations amounted to around $3500. Among the things found were 5, yes five drivers - all with the same drivers license. They also found a hole in the bunk for ummm.............well, you know what for.

    Cat 3126 Warm Up

Truck is a 2003 although I think the engine is 2002 production. Obviously there's no DPF but strangely it does have a catalytic converter in the muffler(single vertical) complete with O2 sensor. Talked with the mechanic and he agrees that it probably has a bad thermostat and said they do stick...

    Cat 3126 Warm Up

umm.........I'm not talking arctic conditions here, only talking about lows around 28-34F and its still taking quite a long while whereas the same engine in the M2 I had up till this month was producing heat after 10 minutes or so - maybe not HOT air but enough to defrost the windows..

    Cat 3126 Warm Up

The one in my T300 seems very cold blooded, even after running 15 minutes it takes another 3 miles driving before it gets up to 125F and produces any cab heat. The one in the M2 was a bit cold blooded as well but was blowing somewhat warm air after 10 or so minutes and the temp was up to 125F...

    Gearmaster

I did, he had a refurb unit for $100 off so I took that. Installation is easy, just find a spot you like, put the velcro like (3M version) tape on, stick it down and plug the cable to the truck. Programing - takes longer to read than actually do it, maybe 15 minutes tops. Just set your idle...

    Anyone in Blaine Today?

WOW, is it really March? Pity about the tow truck - my rail gate and I were sitting on our collective butts at the J (shell) up the road about then. :)
