    Sprinter height

agreed turtle. even if its cutting 5 minutes off the trip but i have to go through 20 lights and turn 15 times its not worth it. i usually look over the route carefully and adjust it as needed.

    Get into the game

Yah, when you're looking at the free load boards and the type of equipment required is "Van" , that just means an enclosed dry semi trailer. Not a cargo van :)

Slow times to take more like six to eight weeks off?

January February are typically slow depending on carrier. If you are an O/O you can do what you like depending on carrier(taking time off etc). I'd guess if you were a driver trying to take that kind of time off they may take issue.

Going home, do you take the rig.

That totally depends on who you're driving for. My experience is DH miles are generally not paid and they do let you take the truck with you(2 weeks seems like a long time though).

Door Stay Check Strap Stop Jam RH LH Toyota Matrix Corolla Vibe Passenger Driver Thats a limiter strap, i didn't bother to find an exact model for a transit but you get the idea. It basically catches the door when it opens before stress is put on the hinges.

Getting Started up again in the Southeast

thx, yah that's pretty much what i figured. I'm ok with that, the hardest part is going to be getting to and from florida i think. Although I'm willing to out 2-3 week at a time then get to florida and just wait for a load out(and visit).

Getting Started up again in the Southeast

Hey all. I'm relocating. My specialty is finding consistent loads through specific companies and running a dedicated route(interstate). The issue I have is that i was formerly located in the northeast. I am now in the deep south, specifically Tampa, Florida. I am realistic in the...

    Cargo Van Need advise

I realize I'm new to the boards and my comments wouldn't carry a ton of weight yet but...You're going to kill your carrying capacity by adding a row of seating in my opinion. Is this to be your families only vehicle? I think you'd be better off taking the $50k and buying a sprinter with 100k...
