    Yeah but I avg 18 us 22 imp with my 4.8 gasser @ 62 mph. I guess there's no getting around the fact that the diesels are large displacement engines with turbos.

    I'd pop into wal mart and get a magnetic antenna to try it out. You can always return it if that's not the cause.

    I'm guessing it's the receiver. If you have Sirius most of their newer units are junk. The solar flare thing should on happen intermittently if at all.
