    The $40,000 toilet

I agree with hondaking38 I've not had any problems with that on my Sprinter. Now the EGR valve that's another story all together...lol. Overall I like the sprinter but it leaves much to be desired in the "no idle" and rumble strip noise in the motor that no one seems to be able to find what...

This is a known problem with DC and several vans have the problem. But no one seems to know or can find out what is causing it. Very few Sprinter owners that have this problem can get it to the shop while the noise is there. I spent $400 trying to have Freigthliner find the problem. Only to be...

With the rising price of fuel....

Thanks everyone for you suggestions. I doubled checked on the Espar and see that I did screw up on the price. Right now I have a heavy duty sleeping bag (I bought it in the UP) to keep warm for now. I need to find something to keep the van warmer when the temp drops as I also have my boxer...

    sprinters egr valves

    >I use to sell Sprinters. Number 1 problem was the EGR Value. >Chrysler had a re-call on 2003 and 2004 Sprinters to replace >the EGR Value with a new type. The newer EGR is on the 2005 >and newer units. Idle is the main problem that causes the >EGR to soot up. I have a high idle fuction on...

With the rising price of fuel....

How do you plan on staying warm this winter? I have a Sprinter with a sleeper and I'm looking for options for staying warm this winter. I can't afford to go out and spend 3000 for an Espar heater right now. So I thought I'd see how everyone else keeps warm in the cold months.

    Word of Warning...

I tried to tell him how the van was supposed to be towed even showed him pics from the manual. He wanted to do it HIS way...well in the end he found out it wouldn't work. Eventually he did tow it the way it is supposed to be towed.

    Word of Warning...

If you ever break down in the Nashville area DO NOT call Marshall Trucking. I had a 4hr waiting for a tow truck 2 hrs for the driver to figure out how to hookup my Sprinter. The driver looked and smelled as if he hadn't showered in weeks. Then he started talking about having "visions" and...

    Any companies?

Does anyone know of any companies that don't require you to goto Canada? I've got a boxer that travels with me and I do my own shots and I was told that I can't go in because of that. So any clue what companies to check into? Oh and I drive a Sprinter w/ sleeper.

    Bolt Express

I worked for them for a short while and all my loads went one way. Had to deadhead back to either Indiana or Ohio to get another load. And when your doing that on your own dime it gets old expensive pretty fast. Especially when coming back from GA or AL.

    Getloaded.com

Thanks for the information guess I could give a try. Right now they are offering a "free test drive" so at least if there isn't anything I can haul I won't be out and $$. If there is then I can always subsribe to it then.

    Getloaded.com

I was wondering if anyone uses this and if it's worth the $$. Also is there freight on there for cargo vans? I have a Sprinter 2500SHC and lately it seems that I'm taking an awful lot of one way loads of 5-600+ mi. Then deadheading back (on my dime as my company doesn't pay dh) 2-300mi to...

On a side note I too had a fun experience at an automotive plant one time. I had a small box weighing oh maybe 5lbs so I carried it into the plant set it down on a cart in the recieving area. Handed the clerk my paperwork and waited. As there was several semis ahead of me, so I was going to...

    Passengers of the Furry kind

I travel with my Boxer and it is working out great. In the warmer months he gives me a reason to get out of the truck and walk him. Therefore causing me to get exercise. ;)
