    Anyone seen UPS trucks yet???

The UPS people have covered wagons because they haul four fifty thousand pound coils at a time. They avoid scales and make tons of money that way. :9 :P :9 On a serious note...there are many small steel carriers that use covered wagons for that reason.

Whos the winner? Fedex CC or Panther?

Yeah I dont think this two week drought you experienced is enough of a reason to consider a different carrier. I'm very happy with Panther and wouldn't even consider leaving them because you will most likely experience the same thing here. Give it another 3 weeks before you switch carriers...

    Panther drivers are u going

Leo are you in a tractor or s/t? And my guess why it didn't go on a flatbed is flatbed companies don't have many customers out there. There aren't that many steel mills in AZ so the deadhead would have been huge.

    Panther

Well I've been to Texas 3-4 times and never got a load out. Every time I ended up deadheading to Nashville. The loads that I took down there were paying well enough for me to still have a nice profit. I was owner operator though, it might be a different story if you work for an owner. That...
