Things to learn in your first 90 days

I'm glad someone mentioned this. With my short fuse, the first "ARE YOU ROLLING?" would have resulted in a truck backed into FedEx's lobby. Yep, I'm rolling right to your desk! Any more questions? :D

Definately going to stop by and see it in Ashtabula, Ohio. The pictures are pretty nice. Even for an 'old' truck! :D J/K. Looks pretty cool, seriously.

    cabover expeditor?

    >Just don't get it, do ya Bugsy??? Really the only thing I don't get is why people enjoy starting arguements with folks they don't even know. It seems to be more prevelant in this forum than in others, even a mod got in on the action last time. I guess I'm just lucky, people think they are...

    cabover expeditor?

    cabover expeditor?

That cabover expeditor actually looks kinda slick! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Argosy has a low profile doghouse, doesn't it? That should make it pretty easy to climb over. I guess the trick would be to find a used one in my price range that I could stretch. Some day, I guess.

    cabover expeditor?

    >Thats about all we use. Not for carrying "toys", but, >freight. Of course, wouldn't expect anything different from you. However for the rest of us who have lives outside of the truck, we like to entertain ourselves. Therefore, I will be bringing some toys along for the ride.

    cabover expeditor?

Just a thought, why not use a cabover for an expeditor? The Argosy looks like a nice truck, and it'd give some room for extra box length for carrying toys. Just curious.

    What's your "other" ride?

I've got an 02 Mitsubishi Diamante, a 90 Suburban that's going on eBay soon, and an 06 Sportster (taxes paid.) :D Pics tomorrow when I get home.

    Older Trucks

Thanks a million for the replies! I will take xcol advice and contact companies individually, but I'm kinda thinking FedEx to get my feet wet. Considering what you folks are saying it will be nice to be able to get a slightly older truck with more creature comforts to enjoy! Thanks again.

    Older Trucks

It was mentioned in another forum that older trucks are fine by some carriers, I was under the distinct impression that >5 years was pretty much taboo. I challenged the person to give me a list of three carriers that are OK with older trucks, but all I've gotten was that he or she is OK with...

A Great Day in Expedite Trucking

    >It's free, what can I say? > >Lawrence, >Expediters Online.com Haha, man, can't argue with that! :D I'm not a fan of that show because the scripting is soooo.... 'scripted' It just seems really staged. But those guys turn out some sweet looking trucks. I Tivo the show just to see...

A Great Day in Expedite Trucking

    >the 2000 Mack CX613 tractor is stretched to At 7 years old, isn't it too old to be a viable expeditor vehicle? From the Fedex CC site: "Vehicles must be no more than five years old from date of manufacture."

How do I shut off Spell Check?

If you are running Firefox 2, that would explain the spell check in the web browser windows, but not the one in Wordpad - which you stated it is also happening in. There is an option in Firefox to turn off the spell checker there (again, *if* you are using that program.) I've heard of third...
