To get a class C in Ohio, you either have to have an endorsement of Chauffeurs or hazmat. There is no C CDL without an endorsement, been there done that Chuck

In Ohio you need a Class C to get a chauffeurs and its the same written test as for a Class A as class C. Some companies require a cargo van to have class C with hazard endorsement, and the reason is the endorsement Chuck
