Try the local courier companies...I drive for one here in Ohio....I use my car and do very well and home weekends and evenings....isn't a bad way to make money....

From what I understand he gets 1.00 per mile out of Cincinnati say to South Carolina....on the load if any he picks up and returns with he gets .85 per loaded mile

courier company out of Kansas City with a branch here offered a 1.00 per mile loaded and back hauls at .80 per mile from the location you were sent.
