I just Bought a Webesto Heater for my 08 sprinter put some styrofoam up in the roof with some wood panneling to cover it . I had the heater going for about 15 mins toasty warm thats with out the wall installed to my sleeper area yet looking good :)

The 7.3 diesel is bullet proof great motor easy to get work done as well as the 6 liter gm gass I would go with the diesel you will use less fuel than gas motor in the long run and it can handel bio diesel or waste motor oil mix with pump diesel as well no problem just my 2 cents worth
