noob4u, my calculations from the spread sheet...
fuel exp. $3770
@3.95 per gal.
954 gallons.
mthly avg miles 9639
divided by 954 gallons
10
Just want to make sure I didn't miss something.
Nobb4u, or anyone else that can help me with the fuel numbers. Per the spread sheet I'm coming up with about 10 mpg. Am I miscalculating? That seems exceptional since the refrigeration unit is running of the mains.
Some of the problems with this are, we are going to pay for the monitoring equipment, and emission upgrades. I also wonder how many stops will be made on the way back to Mexico. Diesel is about a 1.00 cheaper there as well. Hard to compete with that.
Looks like I will be enjoying THanksgiving here in El Paso. It's a beautiful day. Gonna try and catch some football somewhere, or take a guided tour of Juarez for free with this guy with an AK-47.
I'm using the HTC evo...Sprint network, and am able to read and post to EO. Actually this device is doing all my navigation, emails, web browsing, and phone calls. Hope this device holds up, cause I really like it.
Jjoerger, I'm using the small antenna that came with the avermedia and at the pilot in mount sterling, ky....picked up about 15 channels..including, fox,nbc, and cbs. I agree with Greg about a better antenna, some areas will be challenging to pickup a signal. The picture is quality is excellent.
The little gadget thats been helping me out here is the avermedia usb tv card. Turns my laptop into a tv with high def picture. Sure helps on watching football games.
Thks for the input...I was a couple of clicks away from buying the app...glad I asked. Regardless, I really like this android phone, now where's that beer app.;)
