    $1.40 per mile?

Nobb4u, or anyone else that can help me with the fuel numbers. Per the spread sheet I'm coming up with about 10 mpg. Am I miscalculating? That seems exceptional since the refrigeration unit is running of the mains.

    Good, or bad?

Some of the problems with this are, we are going to pay for the monitoring equipment, and emission upgrades. I also wonder how many stops will be made on the way back to Mexico. Diesel is about a 1.00 cheaper there as well. Hard to compete with that.

What products have you found to make life out here more enjoyable?

Jjoerger, I'm using the small antenna that came with the avermedia and at the pilot in mount sterling, ky....picked up about 15 channels..including, fox, nbc, and cbs. I agree with Greg about a better antenna, some areas will be challenging to pickup a signal. The picture is quality is excellent.

Thanks for your responses. Turtle, my understanding was that copilot maps were stored on the sd card and would not need to have a 3, or 4g connection to work. Regardless, as ebsprintin says multitasking the phone that way may be too much. Preciate the welcome ebsprintin.

Hi folks...My first post on the forum...been researching this site for a few months. I'm jumping in on this thread because I'm about to get rolling and have just picked up the htc evo. My question is with copilot live 8 for navigation would you use your phone instead of a stand alone gps unit?
