    Hino vs. Freightliner

Just a little advice. I would stay away from the Hino's. Going up hill's it barely could do 40 m.p.h. The best I could register on fuel was 7.5 miles/ gallon. The truck was a 2006, D-unit, and it spent at least 1 month in the shop for repair's out of the 10 month's that I owned it. I fell for...

    Hino resale values

It seems that Darkunicorn becomes very upset when I speak negatively about the Hino truck. When I purchased the truck in May 2006, I thought I was getting a good deal and a good truck. I am just speaking facts about what has happen to me personally with this truck. The truck has been on the road...

    Hino's agian

I spent 90,000.00 on this Hino. The driver's do not last in this truck because the best fuel mileage anyone has gotten is 7.5/ gallon. All the drivers I have had all loved the interior of the truck and one guy said he felt like he was staying in a luxery hotel, but he could not stand the fact...

    Hino's agian

I agree with you. I own a 2006 Hino and I should have bought a used Class 8 truck. This Hino is junk, poor miles/ gallon, barely get's up hills at 45 mph. Can not keep driver's in this heap of junk.

    Hino resale values

I own a 2006 Hino and it has about 50,000 miles on it and it's a piece of junk now, so I am sure that it will not make it to 5 years old, unless of course it just keeps sitting because I can not keep driver's because of the big 7 miles/ gallon of fuel that it get's. It has become a lawn ornament.

    Hino Truck

Hello Dianne, Have the dealership put in 3 new batteries, the same size with an isolator switch. The Hino Truck factory installed two batteries and if you keep it that way you will be sitting on the side of the road not moving. Then what happen to me is they added a third battery that was not...

    Hino Truck

    Hino Truck

Owners, think twice before you buy a Hino for expediting. They have no power going up hills, put 8000 pounds in the truck and it is barely doing 40 mph up the hills. My truck is constantly having mechanical problems. The dealership says that the Hino averages 10 mpg when in fact it gets about 7...

    Looking For A Good Company

I am on with Express 1 and they are an excellent expediting company. They keep my vehicles moving and all the people that work there are really friendly and professional. I would definitely stay away from TST which has recently started advertising on EO. They are out of Canada and it is very...

    Hino Truck

Everything, air conditioning did not work from day 1, Electrical problems from day 1, Drivers constantly having to find someone to jumpstart them(Battery promblems), transmission trouble, steering troubles, the list is endless. The truck I have is a 2006 Hino, automatic. You would think this...

    Hino Truck

It's funny that I was just talking about how bad the Hino truck is yesterday and this morning my driver called me and told me the truck has problems again. So here we go again the truck is going back in for repairs on Monday. The other day I called the managing rep for Hino and told him I bought...

    Waiting on Hino

My advice to you would be to lose the deposit and run from the Hino. The Hino truck is just not built tough for expediting. I know I have one, and it is broke down more than it is on the road. The problems that I have had with this truck are countless. To many to list.

    Waiting on Hino

I own a 2006 Hino and I would strongly suggest that one not buy this truck for expediting. I have had it on the road for six months and I would say it has been in the shop for repairs for 6 weeks. Between losing money on down time and paying drivers for there motel it is a loser truck.

    taxes and regulations

which states are more favorable to live in tax wise and regulations wise while being in the expediting business with multiple trucks and drivers being paid with a 1099. also own a few cargo vans. thank you.

    1099 vs. W-2

My husband and I own 2 vans and a straight truck in the expediting business and we have an LLC. We have a total of 4 drivers, and we are paying them with a 1099. We pay 60% to the driver and they pay the fuel and tolls. Is this ok to pay them with a 1099 if not should we be paying them with a...
