Engine cranks or starter won't engage? Is it a Mercedes? If you turn the key but nothing happens , like the starter won't engage, it is very likely the Mag Switch. These are cheap to replace but if you ignore them too long they will destroy your starter which is not cheap.

Actually on a 5 axle tractor-trailer when fully loaded, 58 % of the weight is on the tractor. As far as that van goes, with the rear axle right near the back and a set back front axle, weight distribution should be very even. I doubt that FWD will be a negative.

You do know that internal combustion engines run on more than fuel don't you? They run on air and fuel. Lots and lots of air. Far more air in fact than in a cargo van or 53' trailer for that matter.

Thanks for that. I have 265/75's on mine and have no rubbing issues at all. That size turned the 3.73 into 3.48 or 3.58 depending if one started with 225's or 245's. I think it helped my MPGs but its hard to tell because I'm running all- terrains and those really don't promote fuel efficiency.

Standard FL Columbia Mid roof XT. The perfect size for one person in my opinion and am able to stand up straight, I'm 6'4". In fact after 750,000 miles and 7.5 years, I've concluded that this Columbia is the perfect truck.
