2 Killed When Box Truck Flips Downtown - Indiana News Story - WRTV Indianapolis
Still haven't gotten word on which carrier was involved or if it even was an expedite truck. It was a straight truck with a sleeper. Possibly a KW T-300 series.
I spoke to one of my fellow firefighters who works in that district. I am happy to report that the driver of the truck was already out of the vehicle on the arrival of the fire department and had very minor injuries. Very lucky guy!!!
If anyone is eastbound on I-70 in Indiana there is an approx 8 mile backup beginning at Exit 51 due to an overturned semi just west of Exit 59. It was a Bolt Express truck. Unsure of any injuries. Praying for all involved. You can get back on at SR 39 and not have any delays as the accident...
I ran a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins 12' cube truck for a few years. I had the bed raised 4" so that it was 48" from the ground which is minimum for dock height. I also had jack stands put on the back to satisfy the "union" plants even though there was no way a fork lift was gonna drive on my...
I agree but the problem is finding a Budget truck with the 10,000 GVWR. They were almost always the 12,000# models. Penske had 10,000# models prior to the 2008 model year but all of their new ones are 12,300 GVWR. If I was gonna log I would buy a D unit.
Well actually I was referring to Rev's first cube truck that was in-deed a DRW. The aerobox will help but probably not 6mpg worth. My 2002 Penske GMC with the old 5.7/ 4 speed auto got 11.5 to 12.5 so I know these newer ones will do better than that.
Wow, sarcasm sure is prevalent on this thread. You're right.....go ahead and spend 45K on a 3 skid Sprinter. WTH was I thinking??????? Rev was getting 16/17 mpg on his DRW 10k cube but this one is only gonna get 11??? Hmmm
