    Rigmaster

We have a rigmaster on our truck and it never idled down after starting. It always ran at one continuous speed. I think that is how they are supposed to run. The only time I heard a change is when the a/c compressor would kick on, but other than that it was the same. We have had some problems...

    Home For The Holidays?

We'll be home by the 22nd and won't be back on the road til after the 3rd. After that, we probably won't be home (northern WI) til the spring thaw and we hope for lots of southern runs! Safe and Happy Holidays to all of you and your families!

    Christmas Decorations

Here's our dog helping decorate at Grandma's and the Christmas tree we have on the dash of our truck that lights up at night. We both miss decorating, too.

    Parking Overnight while in Chicago

We live in Lake Tomahawk WI - my husband was born and raised there. Nice to "talk" to you, neighbor! We're still working on the parking situation. We know we won't have any problem parking the truck at home, if we do decide to drive it up there. :) Thanks for all of the suggestions so far...

    Parking Overnight while in Chicago

Chicago is a second home base for us - it's where I grew up and a lot of my family still lives. We consider home 5 hours north of Chicago in northern WI. We've contacted Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Menard's and other businesses near where we stay when in Schaumburg and they all said no. We got away...

Where to park in Chicago over holidays?

We are looking for a place to park our 40ft straight truck for 10 to 14 days over the holidays, preferably in the NW suburbs. We have contacted numerous storage places, businesses and personal contacts and were denied. We also contacted Panther's Chicago office and they could not help us. Any...

    interviewing process

I guess I should be more specific. Obviously the process would start with several phone calls to find out if there's initial interest on both sides after asking the appropriate questions. After that, is there paperwork/applications, etc., then finally at least one "in person" interview? What...

    interviewing process

What is the "normal" interviewing process when a team is looking to drive for an o/o and/or company? I'm sure there are lots of variations, we're just trying to get an idea what to expect. My husband is a seasonal t/t dedicated run driver and we're trying to decide where to spend the winter...

    Health Insurance

I've been working as a chiropractic assistant for the last 4 years and have gotten to know insurance policies pretty well. Keep asking questions until you fully understand the benefits in any policy you are considering. Make your agent or the insurance rep explain until there's no doubt in...

anyone in Lake Havasu City AZ Feb 2005?

We were in Lake Havasu the beginning of February and saw a Fed Ex CC truck at Prospector RV Park. My husband wanted to talk to the driver(s), but when we got up the next morning the truck was gone. Just curious if it happened to be any of the drivers who use this site. Seeing that truck in...
