Howdy! Matrix is based out of Flint and has been around a while. Never worked for them, but a friend told me they move a lot of GM and were decent to deal with.
From what I've heard, MSH is a part of or at least has same ownership as CMAC Transportation. CMAC has been around a long time.

Always heard good things about Load-1. Wonder what % of their overall freight falls into Sprinter Van category. Most other carriers have had a freeze on adding any.
Link below on an article about a protest planned. I recall a protest a number of years ago over fuel that generated some media buzz, but didn't amount to anything. I don't really expect this one to be different, but what do you all think?

They were owned by Landstar when XPO bought them. Scott Taylor is the guy that founded them.
I don't know what drives your opinion about him, but I'd guess he's probably done okay since selling it off.
He never said that it would be one big acquisition. It could be several smaller ones.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is Ceva. They were mentioned in an article a few months ago about being eyed by Geodis.
Tons of freight headed for Mexico going through there. Not much comes back. Rates coming back out of Laredo are cheap because of the imbalance. Probably want to make sure you're making enough per mile on the way down to account for that.
The phone # listed on that website (260-483-1800) is the same # that is listed on the FMCSA website for All Types Expediting. I seem to recall some other threads on here about that company.
