Howdy! Matrix is based out of Flint and has been around a while. Never worked for them, but a friend told me they move a lot of GM and were decent to deal with.

From what I've heard, MSH is a part of or at least has same ownership as CMAC Transportation. CMAC has been around a long time. I've seen On Time equipment on the road and it looked like a company that allowed drivers to run for multiple companies. I say that based on the vans having magnets...

Just curious if anyone here has or is running for Amazon? Not the household delivery stuff, but OTR. Just looking for feedback on the good/bad.

Always heard good things about Load-1. Wonder what % of their overall freight falls into Sprinter Van category. Most other carriers have had a freeze on adding any.

They were owned by Landstar when XPO bought them. Scott Taylor is the guy that founded them. I don't know what drives your opinion about him, but I'd guess he's probably done okay since selling it off.

He never said that it would be one big acquisition. It could be several smaller ones. I wouldn't be surprised if it is Ceva. They were mentioned in an article a few months ago about being eyed by Geodis.

Tons of freight headed for Mexico going through there. Not much comes back. Rates coming back out of Laredo are cheap because of the imbalance. Probably want to make sure you're making enough per mile on the way down to account for that.

That is the bigger piece of it for the expedite industry imo.

There is another website - expeditersnetwork.com that appears to also be the same folks. If you scroll down it references "Expediters Online Forum"

The phone # listed on that website (260-483-1800) is the same # that is listed on the FMCSA website for All Types Expediting. I seem to recall some other threads on here about that company.
