In this post, I said, "The trend Trump's trade wars fueled has been accelerated by the war. The whole world is reorienting it's trade practices and political alliances around a declining US empire and an ascending China."
A clear example of this is provided by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
He recently delivered a blunt assessment of Canada-U.S. relations that has fundamentally shifted the diplomatic tone between the two neighbors.

Canada is distancing itself from the US because it no longer considers a relationship with us to be an asset. Because of Trump, it has become a liability in their view. And they're acting like they mean it.

Trump's inability to maintain a consistent thought or war policy is one of the major if not the major obstacles to peace. He suffers from a brain disease. From his frequent, late-night Truth Social storms, it is clear that the man is not well and deeply disturbed. Mentally healthy people do not spend hours awake late at night spewing endless screeds that have no rhyme or reason. America deserves a sane president, and we do not have one now. For the health and safety of the US, and our people in uniform, Trump must be removed from office now.

The Good News About The Jet Fuel Crisis
Because of the war Trump started with Iran, jet fuel prices have spiked (more than doubling in some regions), flights are being canceled, planes are being grounded, airlines are increasing fares, and physical shortages of jet fuel are expected to develop in the coming weeks.
While the US is better supplied with jet fuel than many other countries, Americans flying to Europe or Asia may find that difficult if they want a round-trip ticket. Refueling for the return trip may not be possible if the destination countries have no jet fuel to provide at any price.
The good news is ... all of this is Joe Biden's fault. And if you don't agree with that, what about the time when a Democrat ...?

I agree. There is a growing collection of MAGA influencers now singing the Trump-regret tune. Some think they were never true Trump supporters to begin with. They read the political winds and cashed in then. Now that the winds are changing, they're changing with them to do it again.
I never paid close attention to any of them (Carlson, Green, Jones, etc.). Some in this forum did. There in a better position to say. Since Tucker is making news today, let's look at him.
Which is it? Was Tucker a true Trump supporter who is now stating sincere regret? Or was he a charlatan then who continues to be one now?

The Straight of Hormuz has been closed going on two months now, and the negative impacts of that are felt not just at US gas pumps, but in several industries worldwide. Iran was the first to close it. Trump later joined that effort by adding an additional US Navy blockade.
Earlier, Trump spoke loudly and often about the need to open the Straight. Now he taking action to keep it closed.
Can anyone explain why?

MRI machines cannot run without it as the helium is used to cool the superconducting magnets these machines use to operate. Something called "quenching" happens if a machine lacks helium. That does not destroy the machine but it does require tens of thousands of dollars and days of work to restore its operation. With helium rationing, what used to take days can now take weeks, and quenching incidents are becoming more frequent because helium is harder to obtain.
The war has produced a helium shortage that is prompting US facilities to ration MRI scans. This will increase as helium stores are depleted. It is further evidence that Trump's war is doing more harm to Americans than Iran has ever done.
