Well doh! Look where ya are.. gee whiz

I hope you got chains. Oregon state law requires chains for all vehicles be available 12 months a year. Hefty fine if you don't.
the best WOM might have is TOW chains.....LOLI hope you got chains. Oregon state law requires chains for all vehicles be available 12 months a year. Hefty fine if you don't.

Get to stop in Weed for fuel again? Not needed now, BOOKED from Portland to San Francisco - better weather.
I'll check on chain rules. This was just above 3000 ft and nobody had chains, including the 3 idiots that went off the road

Weed? They have Weed in California?Get to stop in Weed for fuel again?
Our first run of 2017 took us to Redmond. Your pic of US 97 looks familiar![]()
Just stop by a tire place and pick up a set. About $50. Better than the alternative. Also weather up in the mountains changes fast and chain up appear out of nowhere. In other words you might just need them. Not needed now, BOOKED from Portland to San Francisco - better weather.the best WOM might have is TOW chains.....LOL

You must have been asleep when you stopped at Exit 745- that's Weed. They sell lots of 60's related stuff (tie dyed shirts, etc), but I've been told the town fathers are kinda narc-y when it comes to actual marijuana. Believe it or not, that part of California is very conservative
