Old post in the current conversation but..... newbie here, just catching up January posting, & learning from you all....

Let's see:
Likewise here.... got called at 9.30 pm(c)
Central Time Zone (easy folks,I need the ez ones to prop up me ego);)

and offered a 275 DH
$275 for Dead Heading (drive empty from West Coast to East Coast, but a paying load in Key West.... :D)

& 325 lm to St. Louis ...
This one's the A breaker.... Imaginary $ ? Impossible $ ? Implicit $ ?

Imperatriz Brazil to St. Louis... 4,092 miles so...paid load is getting the full rate: $325/4,091 miles = $ 0.0794232649071359 per mile?
As a newbie, thinking may not take this, unless, nothing else due for 3 or 4 days?:crazy_pilot

yuck ..
Wisdom? Dreamer? Political Agenda? Personal Philosophy? Denny's?

no thanks
Smart? Genius? Thoughtful? Greedy? Dumb as a Nail?
  1. Seriously, newbie, with new van... breaking even is first goal.
  2. Learning Plan A - Try this expediting adventure since I want to do full time OTR anyway
  3. Respectful - I do not like shrimp, no bottom feeder here, but I can smell a shrimp, no so much rates/reasonable/safe/stupid in expediting
  4. Curious - engineering back ground, love the details.... can take any 15 minute job to a 48 hour minimum...
