Looks cool, but useless IMO unless it also displays the street name which according to the overview page on their site, does not.

If I'm in a major metro area with different streets converging/diverging in close proximity, I think I would find it too easy to turn down the wrong street if the street name is not also displayed. and if I have to watch the HUD that close as the distance counts down to ensure that I don't, then my eyes are not on the road, thereby negating the whole purpose of the HUD.

(And no, I don't always want to listen to an annoying digitized voice tell me the street name either).

If it catches on I'm sure they will add that feature in future models and then I might consider one.

Its cool but the nxt generation will be better, larger, I still dont understand why the major truck builders arent using these HUD in there existing windshields, the technology is available, could be turned from night to day, moved from top to bottom display but its a gadget freaks friend...

I think it is hard to judge something without really using the device yourself. It may be fantastic and it may not. I may like it you may not. I would like to try it out though. Looks cool!
