Privacy curtain track

Flexible Curtain Track - Walmart.com

This might not be the 'A' plan but if you need to add a privacy curtain this gets the job done quickly and cheaply. It's flexible and arrives coiled up in a box that's maybe 1 ft square. It includes all the hardware including wall hangers and ceiling anchors. I'd rate it at 4 1/2 stars on the strength of it's bargain price and hardware. I'd give it 5 stars but it will always have a memory of having been coiled and so it will never be quite perfect. But hey, the last time I paid even the slightest attention to that tiny little detail was the day after I installed it.

It was cheap and works well and I'm happy with the purchase.

camping world stocks curtain rods for trucks

I tried a few different camping stores and all I found was straight curtains rods. I was looking for something that wraps around like in a semi. The 12' flexible rod I linked to is long enough to span the windshield and both doors. It comes with the hardware to connect the rod to the ceiling or walls of the truck and the rollers for the curtains to hang from.

Aluminum curtain rods are soft enough to be bent. I have them in my truck. Of course you'll have to make th curtains for them.

Maybe Obama can have the governemnt make them for you.

I really like this idea. Cost effective and, if it blocks light well, operationally effective.
I really dislike my windshield "fold up" visor thing and my rigid foam that I cut to fit my side windows. Fold up thing doesn't cover 100% and my foam side things don't allow ventilation so I have to jamb them against my dash in the front and window frame in the back. I know, clear as mud. LOL!!

Actually I understood you perfectly. But that's because that's what I was dealing with, along with a blanket tucked under the visors to cover the windshield. What a pita every night. So I went looking for the official semi rig privacy curtains and track and was happy to find the track at a good price. Some day when I get better curtains (I'm using dollar store shower curtains lol) I'll take a pic or two of the track and hardware in action. The curtain glides on little rollers when you open and close it. It's a small thing but a good thing.
