Where can you find good drivers to drive your Sprinter when you get sick of driving?

Would be nice if I didn't have to pay Qualcomm fees and be able to take month off without getting hit for $300 of fees from my carrier! Instead of taking the loss why not get someone else to drive the van to keep the wheels spinning. My truck is at 186k and I think it's gunna be a 500+k rig

That being said where can you find good drivers that will listen to the tips you have (I'm sure I can use a few myself with only 80k sprinter miles) to offer them and to set the cruise at 67-70 mph, and drive slow in snow, and not beat the truck up?

Find a retired guy near the house. Someone that can only make so much money.
I had a friend that went to his winter home in Az every year.
He'd take his truck. If he wanted to get away from the Mrs he'd go in service for a round trip.
There's always people looking for a little work.

It is just not worth the aggravation...for just a few weeks....you MIGHT cover the expenses IF you are lucky...for the most part drivers for so many reasons are a PIA....IMO of course

I was thinking more along the lines of finding a local guy to run the 1st thru the 10th or so. Then op goes out and hammers through the first of the month.

I know a very good team that basically runs balls to the wall til the 20th and goes home for ten days.
Their owner is ok because they do great numbers.
They enjoy their ten day vacation most months.

that COULD be a lot of DH with a FIRM schedule...I think a flex schedule that would work better from an owner point of view...
