Getting into FedExCC Door #5

I have a gripe about FedExCC not leaving Door #5 open during business hours.I was up there going thru T-Val testing and one of the afternoons at around 13:30 i went to door 5 too get in to use the bathroom but wasn't able too do so because of the door being locked.I called security and they said someone would be right there and 10 minutes later no one showed up. So the main thing is why can't door 5 be left open during business hours? Even when inside door 5 as all know you aren't able to access anything but the restrooms. I understand not being able to get in during non business hours, but don't understand not being able to get in during business hours. Thanks for letting us post our gripe. And yes i have brought it too some higher ups attention and they'll see what can be done to solve the problem. Hopefuly it will be solved and we can go forward from here.

It really is a major issue. Contractors at many carriers, including at least one major carrier, have a driver area with shower and laundry facilities available to them without locked doors standing in their way. It tells the contractor they are valued and appreciated.

Fedex has a great cafeteria available. If contractors could walk in and show their badge to get access what would that tell us? What does that locked door tell us? Can anyone say WART?

They get a great big wart when it comes to showing contractor appreciation. What about security running you off from parking when you have a morning appointment?

I've been told a city ordinance prohibits overnighting at the office. That doesn't change how much positive impact it would have if we could get into the cafeteria and bathrooms without enough security and locks to think we're trying to get to the Oval Office rather than the company cafeteria.
