Where is one of your favorite places you have been while out on the road?

Here is one of mine, it is in Huntington Beach CA. After a beautiful day soaking up the sun and playing in the surf we unwound with a fire on the beach and a beautiful sunset. It is a memory that will be with us the rest of our lives and the picture is a reminder of the GOOD that we find in life on the road.

I figured it would be the Glory Hole.
Although, not while on the road, I used to live in North County San Diego and love the beach in Encinitas/Leucadia Paradise!!!

So far our favorite run has been a ferry ride to Victoria island,BC .The 1.5 hour ferry ride thru the San Juan islands was just breath taking! We delivered some advertising signs to the new best buy. Those sure were some expensive grand opening signs!

As memorable as seeing that sign was we wouldn't rate it alone as a favorite place to visit.

Although the trip we were on when we saw it would be in the top ten. If you ever get the chance take 50 out of Carson City NV to 49 in Placerville CA and head south (you too will go past the Glory Hole in Angels Camp). It is a BEAUTIFUL trip but one I would NOT want to take in anything more than a ST. There are some kiss your AZZ turns that will raise the hair on the back of your neck.
