2008 Sprinters

In researching Sprinter prices I keep coming across many 2008 models with little or no miles. Seems the market is flooded with them but not so on 2009 models. Anyone know the story on this situation?

Older models of any make will have better deals. Memphis dealer has 10k off new 08's. Some others are more in other states. This means if you have an 05, you could buy a new 08 and chances are the note will be lower than your 05....I don't think they made a lot of 09's, so the deals are not out yet. I also think they didn't make a lot of 09's due to Dodge not selling them after 09.

The monthly payment may go lower but it will be due for many more months into the future. Just something to factor in when looking.

During the last part of 08 sales the market fell apart and of course sales dropped. It appears that there were a lot of unsold 08s and of course 09s are not selling as well or in great demand so fewer around.
Here we have the problem of a limited supply as most units go to the US. SO only a few dealers have more than a dozen Sprinters available at any time. Trying to get one in anything other than black/charcoal, silver or white is hard.
Lucky you guys there are deals on them.

Not really. I know someone who had the same amount of months on his 05 and his new 08 and the note was lower. Got 170", for 60 months @ 28,000.00, that was a good deal. I think he paid 35,000 for the 05.
