I'm curious how this historic change has effected your loads and how you operate when in the US?

37% of Americans agree that while they would hate being British, they wouldn't mind having a British accent.

99% of lawyers give the rest a bad name.

I hate the country, all those animals walking around un-cooked.

Expect longer delays at border crossings , especially on weekends as Canadian shoppers flock into the U.S. for shopping bargains .
The Canadian toll for crossing the Blue Water Bridge jumped from $2.75 to $3 when paying with U.S. currency .

Closing to-day the U.S dollar .933 Canadian.

With service charges going to cost at least $1.10 U.S for one loonie.

Was in Canada today

I was just in Canada today and stopped at a Wendy's/rest area along hwy 401. I went in ordered a combo meal for $6.99 (on the menu so I thought) and was told that with the exchange rate I ended up paying $8.50 U.S. So what's up with that?! guess I'll be bringing my own food with me.

Piper....don't worry the U.S. is fast catching up! 18% in Tucson at the dealer!! State, Town, County tax. A lot of U.S. cities have a city tax now on top of the state tax.and they don't get any credits that I know of...Like we( I used to) with the GST quarterly rebate and Ontario tax reduction credit.

Falligator--Be very careful what food you take with you from country to country. The bordor agents are VERY strict about certian foods. It's worth checking out if your going to cross on a regular basis.
