Those who lost and are upset, I get it. Happens to all of us. But the sore luzers, that's some real entertainment right there. Sometimes it's more fun to make fun of the sore luzers than it is to win.
It's hilarious seeing some of the so called political experts and pollsters trying to predict the winner of the Presidential election and get it so wrong. Some wanted so much to show how 'smart' they were with their predictions.

CNN really has a woody over this conflict of interest thing. It's not like we didn't know Trump has business interests all over the world. Maybe if they'd treated him seriously as a candidate, and talked about all this then.
They're crapping their pants over Ivanka sitting in on a meeting with Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Abe, saying it's a conflict of interest, and with Trump meeting with business partners and talking about unsightly wind farms near one of his golf courses, saying it's also conflict of interest. The problem is, in order for there to be a conflict of interest, there has to be, most importantly, an actual conflict of interest.
Many pundits on CNN and the other media want nothing less than for Trump to completely liquidate all of his assets, sell all of his business properties, and apparently change his name or something.
Here's a funny.... let's say he does that, sells all his business interests, and those properties sell for market value, for top dollar, instead of the fire sale prices one would normally get in a "must sell" situation. Did they sell for top dollar because the buyers are looking to curry future political favors from the President? "Conflict of interest! He never should have sold those! He should have just ceased operations, or given the money to charity!" So no matter what he does, a certain segment of bedwetters are gonna scream conflict of interest. yawn
Maybe that's why the President, Vice President, members of Congress, and Federal Judges are all explicitly exempt from all federal conflict of interest rules. <snort>
Just wait until the press realizes that Trump can write off $24 million of the $25 million settlement in the Trump University Fraud case. ($1 million is the fine, the other $24 is literally an expense paid during the normal course of doing business). They're gonna need a new box of Pampers.

Maureen Dowd is a long time NYT columnist. She is a brilliant writer (Pullitzer Prize winning) with a sharp, acerbic wit (I love how she refers to Obama as "Spock"). Her latest column is no different.

Nothing wrong with holding 5 billion $ in government contracts over United Technologies to gain a compromise. Not a fan of "The Donald" but it's about time someone just stood up and said NO! Now, if he can start firing tens of thousands of useless federal employees that have jobs for life. I'll even let JuJu put a Trump bumper sticker on my truck
