As a potential new o/o we understand that we need 1 million cargo insurance. Where is a good place to get this? Can we get this from the company we sign on with? Do you o/o out there have accountants to pay taxes your quarterly or how do you do it?

We are looking at starting new in 5-6 months as an o/o. We used to drive for Panther and basically know exactly how they work. One of the questions is--the split log that Panther utilizes sometimes can work in your favor--other times against you-- if you are teams--lets face it eventually...

If a O/O is making lots of money I can understand that they don't want to give that information out. On the other hand a recruiter and truck dealership will tell you your gonna need a bigger truck to haul all your money in. I have not spoken with a company yet that is not taking on new trucks...
