Working for a owner operator

Im thinking about getting into the expediting business working for a owner operator that is with Panther II. Does anyone have any information about Panther II? Are they pretty good company to work for or is FED X or Tri State better? The owner operator for panther is willing to give 65% of what the truck does I pay for fuel and tolls is there any thing else I should ask for? Should I ask if they give anything for deadhead miles? Im just looking for the best deal for me to get started if anyone can help me let me know thanks.

Dave that sounds like a decent deal..Panther is one of the major players in the Expediting freight industry. You should be able to get a adequate return after paying fuel/tolls. However where you live unfortunately plays a major part of your income.If you live in the Great Lakes area you should do fine,Outlying areas away from the Midwest can be iffy..Good luck
